Hi! Welcome to my very own cool girl monologue.

This has been a long time coming for me. I’m now 22 years old, a senior college student living in the Bronx for college, and I started this blog around September of 2023. I fell off track for a bit, but was reminded that writing is something I’m passionate about, and I should consider myself lucky to have the resources to produce my own content.

I’ve always had a passion for writing. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized I tend to lean more towards personal writing pieces. One could say it means I like to talk about myself way too much, but I think I just have a lot to say about a lot of different things. Either way, working with books and written work has been my dream since I was in elementary school. Hoepfully this blog can jumpstart that 🙂

I’ve was told I should start a blog and share my writing by a few different people in my life, but I never felt confident enough to do so. In 2023, I felt like I was at the perfect spot in life to finally conquer my fear of dealing with technology, and start my own blog.

Aside from writing, fashion is something that has always been a part of my life. I love expressing myself through different pieces, and finding what works for me. I’ve found that despite each and every trend that flows in and out of our lives, I tend to stick with what I feel most comfortable in. I think that speaks to my character but you can be the judge of that.

From the super narcissistic name I came up with for this blog, I’m basically going to be dumping my entire inner monologue- the things I love about life, fashion, what I’ve learned, everything of that sort. The ‘cool girl’ part is just for fun.

With all that, I hope you enjoy what I post. And remember I’m only 21. I’m basically a newborn baby. There’s a lot that goes on in my head, so I can’t promise it will all make sense.
